Chika Obi (b. 1999) graduates from the University of Lagos in 2025. She grew up between Lagos and London, moving back and forth with her family.
Her collage work has been shown at the African Artists' Foundation. She collects materials from both cities for her pieces.
"I never felt fully from one place. The work comes from that—putting different things together until they make sense."
'Echoes of Lagos' uses newspaper, fabric, and paint from both Lagos and London. Each piece has materials from at least two countries.

Recycled canvas, water-based acrylics, found paper, natural adhesives.
Process
Collage building, acrylic layering. Works develop over 4-8 weeks.
