Welcome to CraftVantage. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and platform operated by CraftVantage Gallery (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

CraftVantage is a creative development initiative supporting Nigerian graduate artists through sustainable commerce and global visibility. Our platform connects collectors, galleries, and artists in an ethical marketplace.

2. Use of Services

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or making purchases
• Use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts our services
• Respect the intellectual property rights of artists and CraftVantage
• Not reproduce, duplicate, or resell any artwork without proper authorization

3. Artwork Purchases

All artwork sales through CraftVantage are subject to the following conditions:

• Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice
• Payment must be completed in full before artwork is shipped
• We ensure artists receive 70% of every sale, significantly above industry standards
• All sales are final unless the artwork arrives damaged or significantly different from its description
• Certificates of authenticity are provided with each original artwork

4. Shipping and Delivery

CraftVantage is committed to carbon-neutral shipping. Every artwork shipped is offset through our reforestation partners in Cross River State. Delivery times vary based on location:

• Within Nigeria: 5-10 business days
• International: 14-21 business days
• Tracking information will be provided once your order ships
• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier

5. Artist Submissions

Artists applying to join the CraftVantage network must meet the following criteria:

• Be a recent graduate (within 5 years) from a recognized Nigerian art institution
• Demonstrate commitment to sustainable art practices
• Agree to our ethical guidelines and fair trade practices
• Submit original work only; plagiarism will result in immediate removal

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CraftVantage or its content suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.

Artists retain copyright to their original works. By listing artwork on CraftVantage, artists grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and sell their work through our platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

CraftVantage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific artwork or service in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
