Sustainability Commitment
100% natural pigments. No synthetic materials. 20% of sales support Delta conservation.
Emeka Okonkwo (b. 1997, Rivers State) graduates from the University of Lagos in 2025. He grew up in the Niger Delta and started documenting the landscape as it changed.
He harvests and processes all his own pigments from Delta plants. Each painting uses colors from the specific area it depicts.
"I paint places with colors from those places. If a plant disappears, I can't paint it anymore. That's the point."
The 'Delta Light' series shows the wetlands at different times of day. I've been painting the same locations for three years now. Some of them look different already.
